Its twice on each creature, so you use springheart nantuko to create a insect token every time you draw a land, since you get two draws from each creature you can easily draw out your whole deck and get infinite mana/tokens if you can put your graveyard back into your library.

The "only twice per turn" on nadu is on the ability that it gives to all of your creatures. So for each creature you can get 2 triggers.

I started playing Magic in the Kamigawa block, and I absolutely love the set. I was 9 years old back then, and this was the defining set for me. I loved the artwork and the theme and everything, as a kid I used to take inspiration from all these cards in my own drawings. And being my first time experiancing Magic, the Kamigawa block still stands for me as my favourite, nostalgic set of all time :)

The thing that breaks Nadu is its twice PER creature you control. So with springheart nuntuku which has a lanfall make a token creature every land hit means you get another creature and once you have 2 or 3 springhearts you are infinite.

The twice per turn is inside the quotes, so it's actually twice per turn per creature.

Des, the problem with Nadu is it was twice per turn... for EACH creature you control. So the entire deck was basically generating 1/1s with landfall since Nadu just straight up ramps you (the lands come in UNTAPPED, for extra horseshit) and looping Shuko onto each new creature. So you ramped in open mana so you could countermagic, generated a board and drew your entire deck all at once with zero effort whatsoever.

Nadu does not say twice each turn, it says twice each creature each turn. You can equip a card for 0 mana 4 times on 2 creatures, it gets you 4 untapped lands off the top of your deck, and you play 2 more creature for 4 more draws. It easily lasts 30 minutes if you keep it going, and 2 creature is draw 4 so it's easy to keep it going. This is still legal in Historic and Timeless on Arena

The fact that Commander players pretend that their format is "casual," when in reality being a turn-2 format almost on par with Vintage is always baffling to me. The fact that wizards shifted focus from a rotating format to an eternal one is a VERY bad sign as well. All you need to do is look at the utter dumpster-fire that is Yu-Gi-Oh to see where this road leads. Prepare for perpetual power creep people. It's funny how hard Modern players are bitching about EDH ruining Modern when the idea for Nadu is a total failure in EDH too. No one wants to play against a Simic combo durdlefest. Nadu is unwelcome everywhere. It's the same shit as Thassa's Oracle.

The hard twice per turn is inside the given ability so the ability of each creature you control can have ITS OWN ability twice. Two creatures = 4 max triggers.

The problem with Nadu is that the 'triggers only twice per turn' is not a global limitation, it's a local limitation. So if you have Nadu and 300 scute swarms in play, you can trigger the Nadu effect twice for every one of those scute swarms. Any deck with Nadu, decent token generation and any 0-cost loopable targeting effect could instantly draw through their entire deck.

TLDR: WotC needs to make money and the best way they have found so far is to have 1-2 OP mythic rare per set.

Nadu's effect states that your creatures have that ability. So it's twice PER CREATURE. Springheart Nantuko gives you a 1/1 token creature every time you drop a land. So yeah, really easy to drop all your lands and all your creatures.

I'm extremely convinced that the character who was on Alpha Flavour text is Asmoranomardicadiastinaculdacor, who was referenced on the Alpha Granite Gargoyle and was printed in Modern Horizons 2 she's the lady with the Underworld Cookbook and this is oddly fitting for this set...I decided to just look through Alpha flavour text...because why not. Actually scratch that...I kept looking and I found Norin the Wary on Jade Statue...there's no way they're leaving out MtG's biggest coward out of the haunted house set.

Outside of the ban discussions, but I think you're lowkey trippin if you think in standard obliterator and liliana are the must bans and broken. Slickshot showoff, monstrous rage and heartfire hero are 10x worse. I play both BO3 and 1, and in both I barely ever see obliterator, and Liliana is never so oppressive that if she gets played = I lose.

I have created what might be the best win rate deck I've ever seen in non standard brawl. Terrible control garbage and I hate myself for it but I've had enough trying to have fun against these stupid alchemy cards. I named "No More Fun" and thought you would totally do the same. I watched a episode on Nikachu's channel about cheating and the shuffle where Jared Becher did the same thing in multiple tournaments, in one case he actually screwed himself over ironically losing to himself and his own cheat.
